'A SOLDIER'S
SKETCHES UNDER FIRE' By Harold Harvey
Harvey joined the Royal Fusiliers
and sailed from Southampton in September 1914 by way of Malta and
then the Ypres Salient.
He provides a clever, often
light-hearted view of trench warfare illustrated by fine drawings.
He was gassed in the first German gas attack in April 1915 and
invalided home.
